Acu-Detox auricular acupuncture supports mental health and substance use recovery. This practice is intended to balance the body’s energy and create a peaceful quiet space for healing.

Disposable needles are inserted into five acupuncture points on the ears while participants sit silently in a circle for 30-40 minutes. Reported benefits include:

• Reduced cravings for substances
• Fewer withdrawal symptoms
• Stress relief and relaxation
• Increased sense of well-being and more energy
• Connection to inner peace and strength

Sessions will be held at Centretown Community Health Centre, 420 Cooper Street on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.

This service is for residents of Ottawa only.
