Service Details
Description:
Volunteers provide companionship and caregiver relief to people with a life limiting illness. These services are delivered by volunteers who have received intensive training in supporting people with life limiting illnesses, and often have personal experience dealing with caregiver issues.
Individuals interested in connecting with one of our volunteers can receive weekly support and encouragement over the phone or in person. Volunteers can visit for up to 4 hours a week at a time that is convenient for both the client, caregiver and volunteer.
